I'm about to violate a good fellow's privacy for a good cause. All of
you suffered through LBNA's recent computer troubles. And quite a few
of you said if you had only known, you would have helped pay for the
new computer resources.
Say no more. Just send a check. Choi's address is:
John Chapman, 28 Birch Road, Andover, MA 01810.
I'm a computer kind of guy, so I appreciate the hell he goes through
just so I can have a good time. I'm sending my check. I suggest each
of us send at least $1 for each box we have planted -- or better yet
$1 for each box we have found. Many of us spend that much in gas just
driv ing around looking for carving material.
My students are always shocked when I explain that the Internet is not
free. Most of us ride on the broad shoulders and pocketbooks of
volunteers like Choi. But there are limits to altruism. Give as you
have received.

The idea is a good one- to monetarily support your hobbies! I would
check first before sending a check, however, to see what the
immediate need is. This website will be ongoing for a long time I
hope, so there will be future opportunities to help, I'm sure.

Thank you Clyde for reminding everyone. We are waiting for EOM
payday before we can help out, but help out we will. Is there a way
that Choi can put "donation" link on the website for those of us who
would like to use Paypal (and of course, a snail mail addy for those
who prefer not to, LOL!).

The outpouring of generosity has been overwhelming, and our
current needs are being met.
Thanks,
Choi
